On Sunday, October 9, more than 1,000 community members attended the SANDAG Community Fair and learned about projects and programs underway through the Regional Plan like the LOSSAN corridor rail realignment, affordable internet options, and plans for additional bike lanes.
Guests also enjoyed food trucks, free giveaways, art exhibits, live music, and tech demos, including a showcase of potential cutting-edge transportation solutions from our Request for Innovative Concept finalists: Beep, Cavnue, and Cordoba. These new transportation concepts could be built in our region over the next five to ten years and explore new ways SANDAG can collaborate with the private sector on new transportation trends and technology.
Missed the event and showcase? Check out the live presentations by finalists and reactions from community leaders.
During the plan-development process, several presentations and reports are provided to the SANDAG Board of Directors and policy advisory committees.
Do you have a group that wants to hear more about the 2021 Regional Plan? The SANDAG team regularly presents to organizations throughout the region. If you’d like to request a staff presentation, please complete our
